How To Use / Point Multiple Domains / "Masking" & "Non-masking"

Follow

You can use multiple domains to lead your clients to your website. You may wish to do this if you have purchased more than one domain name and want them all to lead back to your website with us. Or, you may want to change your domain name but have clients that recognize you with your old domain name.

You can achieve this in two ways:

  1. You can mask one URL to make it point to your new website. This will keep the original URL visible in your web address bar.
    1. Try it here. You can search example.org in your web address bar and it will point to example.com, but it still will keep example.org in the web address bar.
  2. You can not mask, or redirect, the one URL to also make it point to your new website. This will NOT keep the original URL visible in your web address bar. Only the domain name registered with us will be visible in your web address bar. This simply redirects your old URL to the new URL.

To achieve either of these, you can talk to your domain registrar.
