A spacer is used to add space between elements. It will appear in the editor as a block of grey space only when hovered over or when it is clicked but will just appear as space on the live site.
Click on the BUILD tab in the navigational menu at the top of the page in grey.
Select the spacer element from the sidebar on the left.
Drag the spacer element onto the page and hover over where you want to place the spacer until you see a blue line appear.
Move the spacer element on the page until the blue line is in the correct spot. This line indicates where, in reference to the other elements, the object will be placed.
