Identifying and resolving posting errors is one of the most important aspects of monitoring posts in your Social Media Manager. You may have gotten an email notification about a posting error, seen your content was missing from a social platform, or noticed your content didn't post from the Social Media Manager. The step-by-step guide below explains how to identify and fix posting errors.
- Navigate to the calendar.
- You will know when you have a posting error when your post is red in the calendar and has a caution symbol
. Click on the post with the error.
- In the pop-up window, you will see an error checklist — this checklist explains what went wrong with posting your content. Click on the Edit Content button.
- You'll be brought to another screen with your post. Click on the three dots ••• at the top right corner of your post.
- Click Edit Content in the drop-down.
- Fix your content based on your posting error.
- Click the green Update button.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click the Post this content now link.
- In the pop-up, click the green Post to Account button.
- You'll see a Posting notification pop up at the bottom right corner, and then a Success notification when your content posts.
- Navigate back to your calendar.
- You'll now see a checkmark
next to your piece of content indicating that it has posted.
